Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AZ TCG Card Scanner mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal; if there is any conflict, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted by Apple.
1. The App
The App lets you identify trading cards with your device's camera, view reference market prices, organize a personal collection, build decks and use related tools. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the App, or use it to collect data at scale or in any unlawful way.
3. Free version and PRO
The App is free to download and includes ads and usage limits. AZ TCG Card Scanner PRO removes ads and unlocks additional features. PRO is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly and yearly) and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Current prices and periods are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price unless you are told otherwise in advance.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- The Lifetime purchase gives access to PRO features for as long as the App is offered and supported, on the Apple Account used to buy it.
4. Prices and card information
Card recognition, card details and market prices come from automated processing and third-party sources. They are provided for reference only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and card values change over time. Do not rely on the App as your only source before buying, selling, trading or grading cards. Grade estimates are not professional grading.
5. Your content
Your collection, decks and settings are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping a backup (for example with the CSV export). We are not responsible for data lost if you delete the App, reset or lose your device.
6. Ads and third-party services
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. The App also relies on third-party services such as Apple, RevenueCat and public card databases. Their content and availability are outside our control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Trademarks
AZ TCG Card Scanner is an independent, unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK Inc., Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, Disney or Ravensburger. All card names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the cards.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions made based on information shown in the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information AZ TCG Card Scanner (the "App") handles, why, and the choices you have. In short: there is no account, your collection stays on your iPhone, and your card photos are never uploaded.
1. Information stored only on your device
- Your collection and settings: cards, binders, wishlist, decks, price history and preferences are saved locally on your iPhone. We do not have access to them.
- Camera: the camera is used only to recognize cards. Images are processed on your device in real time and are not stored or sent anywhere.
- Photos: if you choose a photo to scan or grade a card, the App reads only that photo, on your device. If you save an image (for example your trade list), the App only adds it to your library.
- Notifications: price alerts and the weekly summary are created on your device.
2. Information shared with service providers
- Card databases and prices: to show card details and prices, the App requests data from public sources (TCGdex, Scryfall, YGOPRODeck, Lorcast, OPTCG API, TCGplayer via tcgcsv.com) and currency rates from Frankfurter. These requests contain card identifiers or search text, never your photos or personal details. Like any internet request, they include your IP address.
- Purchases: payments are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for this App and basic device information. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
- Advertising (free version only): ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers (including the advertising identifier if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and information about ad interactions, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are requested, and ads are personalized only if you agree. See how Google uses information from apps.
- Optional measurement: with your permission, the App may use analytics and install-measurement tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics, Meta and TikTok) to understand how the App is used and how our own ads perform. These tools receive app usage events and device information. They are only started if you accept when asked, and you can say no without losing any feature.
3. Tracking and your choices
The App asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before the advertising identifier is used. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where required, Profile includes an "Ad privacy choices" option to change your ad consent. Upgrading to PRO removes ads completely.
4. What we do not do
- We do not require or create an account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not upload your card photos or your collection.
5. Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays there until you delete it or delete the App. Information held by the service providers above is kept according to their own policies. To ask us anything about your data, contact us at the address below.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union or privacy laws in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not keep personal information on our own servers, most requests can be handled directly on your device or with the providers listed above; we are happy to help.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version.
